Do
you have 3 years experience as an Operator working for an Exploration
and Production Company in the Oil and Gas industry?
As an Operator, you will make
routine checks on all well sites according to schedule. You will monitor production equipment,
compressors, wellheads, dehydrators, and meters. You will manage daily fluid production; gauge
and record oil and water tanks; record all seal records. You will participate in periodic Well Review
meetings with Foreman, Techs, and Asset Manager. You will analyze production related problems
and work with Foreman, Techs, Asset Manager, and any other relative personnel
to troubleshoot. You will submit daily
data and turn in all reports and tickets on a timely basis. You will inspect lease sites, ensure they are
clean and maintained; check for spills and fluid leaks. You will routinely inspect pumping units,
compressors, and other equipment to ensure they are well maintained.
You
will provide relief pumping when needed.
You will communicate regularly with Production Foreman and Relief Pumper. You will ensure company provided vehicle is
well maintained and cleaned. You will
perform light maintenance on equipment.
You will perform all duties in accordance with Company’s Environmental,
Health, Safety, and Regulatory Guidelines.
You will be relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals. You will be performing all job
duties in a safe and efficient manner.
You will adher to all Company Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications:
· Must have a High
School diploma or equivalent.
· Must have 3 years
experience as an Operator.
· Vocational or
equivalent training in General Machinery operations or equipment usage, Oil and
Gas production, or relevant Field preferred.
· Must have the ability
to understand gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure a machine is working
properly.
· Must have the ability
to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
· You will be providing
information to Supervisors, Co-workers, and Subordinates by telephone, in
written form, e-mail, or in person.
· Must be able to
work and communicate effectively with all levels of Co-workers, Clients, and
other external Contacts.
· Demonstrate
basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including
Microsoft Office applications.
· Must be able to
learn company specific applications.
· Experience with
Microsoft Office Suite and other database systems.
· Must be able to
effectively communicate with management, internal and external.
· Must be able to
function in field conditions and inclement weather.
· Must demonstrate
ability to effectively work in a team environment.
